Steps
Restart the appliance.
If E24 shows again, book a technician visit.
If the door has to be opened manually (WM76)
Pull the plug and drain the drum first.
Push a flat-blade screwdriver into the emergency slot at the right of the door latch and turn it clockwise.
Do not force the door, because that can damage the locking mechanism.
