About Our Asko Repair Team

This site exists for one narrow purpose: getting Asko appliances in the San Francisco Bay Area working again. We do not repair refrigerators, ranges, hoods or microwaves, and we do not try to cover every brand. Staying with one lineup lets us talk about its habits, its codes and its typical weak points without guessing.

Why a single brand

Asko is a Swedish brand, and its American lineup is compact and built in. Dishwashers are 24 inches wide, washers and dryers are front-load and often stacked in a closet, and the range extends to heat pump dryers, drying cabinets, wine climate cabinets, induction cooktops and combi-steam ovens. These machines share design habits: drain pump filters you can clean yourself, display codes that follow a pattern, and installations that leave very little room to work. Knowing that pattern shortens the path from symptom to cause.

The homes we work in

Bay Area housing shapes the job. A washer in a converted garage unit, a heat pump dryer in a condo with no outside wall, a dishwasher fitted into a cutout beside a disposer, a wine cabinet squeezed under a counter: each one adds a condition that changes the diagnosis. We pay attention to the drain height, the supply hoses, the ventilation clearance and the circuit before blaming a part.

How we work

Three commitments sit under every visit.

  • We diagnose before we repair, so the fault is identified rather than assumed.
  • You receive a written estimate that you can read and keep.
  • Nothing is repaired without your approval.

We say plainly when a problem is something you can fix with a filter, a hose or a breaker, and we say plainly when it is not. Our guides never ask you to open a panel or work on a live circuit; owner checks stay on the outside of the appliance.

What you will find here

The repair services section describes each appliance family in depth, and Asko appliances lists the lineups with their model numbers. Our error code library explains what each display code points to, and the blog walks through common symptoms in the order a technician would check them. The editorial team that prepares these guides writes for owners, tenants and property managers rather than for other repair shops.

Work with us

If something has stopped working, the contact page explains how to request a visit and what to have ready. We work Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, across San Francisco and the wider Bay Area listed under service areas.
