Error codeE8
ApplianceDryer
What E8 stands for
The display uses E8 to flag a faulty button. Asko lists it on the TD85.11XX and TD86, and in the TD86 manual it sits among the control unit failures. Both are current series.
Before you call
Any error on the display begins with a restart, so power the dryer off and on. INFO on the TD85.11XX, or OK held down on the TD86, shows the whole message. For E8 itself the manual prints a technician visit.
E9 is raised when the PB and UI software versions do not fit together.
Asko dryer service in San Francisco
Call (415) 993-3547 from San Francisco or any Bay Area town. Say whether any buttons still respond, and have the model number ready. Our Asko dryer repair page explains more.
Model compatibility: Asko reuses codes across series and model years, so E8 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
