The overflow guard behind F54
A guard in the dishwasher watches the water level. Once it climbs above normal, the guard pumps the machine out and shuts off the water supply, and the display reads F54, overfilling (water 2). The DBI664 XXL and DBI564 series carry it.
Do this, in this order
Turn off the water supply valve.
Only after that, pull the plug from the outlet. Unplugging first can let water leak outside the machine.
Arrange a technician visit.

F10: overfilling (water 1), the first overfilling message
After the water is off, call (415) 993-3547 to book a technician in San Francisco or across the Bay Area. Quote F54 and the model number, and mention that the supply valve is closed. Our Asko dishwasher repair page tells more.
Model compatibility: Asko reuses codes across series and model years, so F54 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
